GerrityStone is seeking to fill a position for an Inside Sales / Project Management role in its Wobum headquarters. The position will require supporting GerrityStone's outside sales team in quoting, customer service, and project management responsibilities associated with the fabrication and installation of natural and engineered stone surfaces.
At GerrityStone, Project Managers work as a member of a team through being paired with an outside sales representative. This partnership creates an entrepreneurial opportunity for the team to operate as a small business within the larger GerrityStone envelope. The team is responsible for creating and executing a business development strategy through identifying and cultivating new accounts.
The Project Manager serves as the hub of the sales team partnership, directing the sales, fabrication, and installation process through the internal steps required to complete a job. Responsibilities include quoting work referred by the outside sales partner, interacting with customers over the telephone, email, and in person at GerrityStone's showroom, spending time at site visits for templates and installations, and working with GerrityStone's internal scheduling, fabrication, and installation teams to manage the life-cycle of a project The Project Manager's day is always varied and never dull' The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, curious and interested in learning new skills; and able to work within a team setting. Strong interpersonal skills will be required, as will a general computer literacy with a focus on Microsoft Office. Prior experience within the stone industry is preferred, but it is not required.
